G Systems Named an NI Partner Migration Services Provider

G Systems was recently recognized by NI for our ability to migrate and upgrade applications

G Systems was recently appointed as an NI Partner Migration Services Program provider. One of only ten NI Alliance Partners currently chosen as program providers, G Systems has been a member of the NI Alliance Partner Network since 1991. This recognition comes after many years of G Systems’ successful hardware modernizations, software upgrades, and test systems future-proofing.

The new Partner Migration Services Program distinguishes partners for their expertise and ability to migrate and upgrade applications and promotes them as recommended partners for companies seeking these services.

“We are honored to be recognized by NI and look forward to a continued successful partnership in this arena,” said G Systems Senior Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing Dave Baker. “With a technology refresh, we can help modernize critical aspects of a system, reduce downtime and compatibility issues, and ensure systems are properly supported. G Systems can design a modern system with flexibility and scalability – so organizations can add new functions to their systems and successfully adapt as their business grows.”

These services are comprehensive and may include both software upgrades and hardware migrations from one platform to another. In addition, with the release of NI’s LabVIEW NXG, migrating applications with built in LabVIEW to the LabVIEW NXG platform is an important service offering for customers. Partner Migration Services Program providers have experience in successfully completing various types of migration projects and have completed training on transitioning applications from LabVIEW to LabVIEW NXG.

“As LabVIEW NXG becomes a complete offering, our Alliance Partners are vital in helping NI customers migrate and upgrade their applications,” said NI Partner Development Manager Selene van der Walt. “We are particularly excited to recognize G Systems’ successful migration expertise, longevity as an Alliance Partner, and commitment to NI customer success.”

One example of G Systems’ proficiency in migration services is the company’s work to modernize Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Vehicle Systems Integration Facility (AKA the “Iron Bird”). G Systems developed a highly scalable and reconfigurable integrated data system with more than 3000 analog, digital, and virtual channels. The technology refresh included hardware and software for this system, responsible for simultaneously monitoring multiple aircraft sub-system integration tests and providing real-time data display and analysis.
